Dear friends, we just ended the west Nile miracle crusade over the weekend and Jesus is always going to be lord in that land-Arua especially. this Christmas taking with us the good news gospel just turned out to be the perfect gift.

Christmas is the best time/season to share with our loved ones. Ever stopped to ponder about god’s love for you and me, especially now? John 3:16 attests to this, Isaiah 9:6 foretells of this promise, Matthew 1:21-23 is filled with this factual truth! Satan’s plan has always been and is to separate us from our heavenly father; to sore and create enmity in this father-son relationship as reflected in genesis 3.

We discover that ever since the fall, man is into the runing and hiding business from his creator. but you see, there is no (loving) father like Jehovah God. Through all the shame and pain, God still looks out for us. he called Adam out of his hiding place after the mess he had done.

This is what happens to us often, and west-Nile/Arua was no exception. Jesus came alive and seemed to say to the Lugbara people; “come to me and i’ll perfect you, i’ll change you. i love you and I’ll care for you”.

This Jesus since time immemorial is who the Holy Scriptures speak of as being the same yesterday, today and forever. Killing an animal in genesis 3:21 to cloth Adam is a gesture enough to portray his love for humankind even after all things are gravely gone wrong.

The devil’s wiles through religion, sin, condemnation, witchcraft, and so forth.., are all driven to take hold of us with a glued grip. Much as he (the devil) expects us to surrender to such wrong thoughts; that our heavenly father’s relationship is irreparable, we cannot bow to it. This is far from the truth.

in his word (Romans 8:34-39) declares that nothing can ever separate us from the love of god. it is the lord’s report that we ought to believe. Satan was long triumphed over when at the cross he (Jesus) said “it is finished”. Man may fail but god never fails. He asked who would go down to earth to restore the fallen relationship.

So Jesus as our perfect ransom did come down for our sake. Through marry the mother of our lord, the promise was fulfilled. Satan might have orchestrated man’s fall through woman (in the garden), but god turned that around for good and he too used woman for the fulfillment of scripture; the virgin birth.

This should open our eyes to know that satan has no power over us whatsoever, because Jesus lives big on the inside of us. Many conditions among the people synonymous with numerous bible stories ignited faith that caused the spirit of God to manifest in amazing ways. The blind, deaf, dumb, lame and crippled, are all the signs that followed in this great Holy Spirit miracle meeting.

In other wards, every ailment the devil had brought on the people bowed down at the master’s feet, affirming that he is the son of god. in this predominantly moslem territory, it is so amazing that there was a heeding to what the lord through the holy spirit was doing among the people.

like the man born crippled when he got his miracle, he leapt; like the one passsed through the roof by his friends and seeing this kind of faith the lord commanded him to rise up, pick up his bed and walk, was the display of despair among these Muslim folks on the grounds-a kind of faith unseen in most meetings.

to them surrendering to Jesus was as a sweet sound to their ears and a wonderful spectacle to their eyes. (check out 60 year old Isa’s miracle).

it does not matter what or who you are-just call on the name of Jesus (as long as you are made in his image), you are sure to attract his attention. the bible promises that whoever calls upon his name shall be saved.
