Past Events..
Counsel Julius Ssenyondo1 Counsel Julius Ssenyondo is one among the many fruits of the efforts and dream of his Dad and Pastor-Robert Kayanja. Little did one have any hopes or dreams for Julius and many of his new found brothers and sisters eight years ago, when Pastor Robert as the visionary established the Never Again Children’s project. Destiny was beckoning on these (once-upon-a-time) street kids. Divine attention arrested Pastor Robert Kayanja as he drove through the streets, passing by these little wretched souls eating from dump stands. He could not brush the scene off his mind as God retorted;”they are doing it right in your face.”There cannot be a more crystal clear way than this of knowing that this must have been God choosing and calling him to this. So ravaged in life, these unwanted kids in society, a problem of sorts to the communities lived their lives as pastoralists.  “Many of us certainly ended up on the streets due to break down of families-child abuse, loss of our parents to the Aids scourge, and others looking for a bigger  picture of themselves than the one they had viewed themselves in at the moment-you know. But for whatever reason, I am greatly thankful to Pastor Robert Kayanja together with those who joined hands with him to see that people such as me come out at the end of the tunnel as people of purpose and worth in and to society. Special thanks to DR Robb Thompson senior Pastor of Family Harvest Church. Thank you so much.”
Flanked by his mother-Mama Jessica Kayanja, it was such a joyous moment-the 18th day of April being about every place clad in his graduation gown as the main celebrant. A thing never ever thought about or even crossed anyone’s mind. But that’s just the way the (Heavenly) Father is. Did He not say He is the Father to the fatherless? Even when we do not deserve the good, God blesses us anyway.

“And that’s why it’s good to know the Lord Jesus. I’m glad I know Him personally; I cannot trade Him for anyone or anything. Eight years down the road I’m graduating from law school. If there be any of you reading this message, with all humility, love and respect I’d urge you to try asking out Jesus. Talk to Him and tell Him all your troubles. He loves and listens to everyone at whatever point in life you are wherever you are. He is the one guy that never disappoints, always there in the good and the bad.

Most importantly don’t forget to ask Him to get into your life. Make Him Lord of your life because there after you never regret, it only gets better and better. All you will have to do is fall back on Him when things seem to be going otherwise-you never have to fight your way through anything. Trust Him with everything, your family, loved ones or friends, your business or studies, anything and everything. I’m so overwhelmed with all that’s happening in my life-but for sure it’s good.”

“Parents too, love your children, train them and give them the best you can because it is indescribable unspeakable joy reaching such a goal. It’s very satisfying and worth all your effort. Deny not this happiness of your children, it’s another way they will know and understand love.”

From Counsel Julius with Love.

                  GOD BLESS ALL HUMANITY.

  DR.MARILYN HICKEY VISITS UGANDA
Uganda once again (in this 2008th year, full of double potential capability), has been privileged to host yet another mighty servant of God. Like Africa is known for her extra-ordinary welcome to her guests, mirrored through the vibrant souls, Dr Marilyn Hickey’s reception in Uganda was no different-only much better.
In a highly spirited welcome, she kicked of her powerful meetings with a Pastors’ and Leaders’ conference at the Miracle Centre Cathedral.
“When I started my ministry I prayed for many African countries and Uganda has always had a warm special place in my heart” Dr. Marilyn Hickey retorted.

In the prime of ministry God spoke to her to go reach the lost rather than expect the lost to come to her. Through radio, television and Christian literature, God has increased her ministry by leaps and bounds. For over 38 years on television her ministry reaches approximately1billion and 500million people every single day.
In you lies the greatest power to multiply and as leaders we have been called to the multitudes. Note; the key to prosperity in ministry is speaking the word, meditating upon it and eventually doing it, (this can be drawn from the book of Joshua: 1:8)

Of great significance is the fact that the book of Joshua is one that has outstanding miracles. When Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land- God was always ahead of them wining mighty battles, He was such a man that made the sun stand still while they waged war against their enemy. So extraordinary was the marching round the walls of Jericho that eventually brought them tumbling down.

But more interestingly is the harlot-Rahab, who only heard about the kind of God the Israelites served, about His mighty and wondrous works that made a believer out of her.

Believe like Rahab did who confessed and acknowledged the God of Israel and was saved. This earned her being in the genealogy of our Lord Christ Jesus. And not just that, but her entire family was saved because of this brave act. It doesn’t matter what has gone wrong in your life or around you, all you need is call on the savior (of the day) and all that seemed dead will be resurrected.
“Whoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved”. Remember, like Joshua marched with the Israelites round about Jericho seven times to bring its walls down, so will everything that has been hindering our progress be broken and crushed. Remember we never talk about ‘mountains’, we speak to them.    (Mark 11:23)

dr-creflo-dollar-conference

The day that was, Dr.Creflo Dollar’s visit proceeding Pastor Benny Hinn’s crusade has seen the church in Uganda delving in another dimension; spiritually but more so realistically. He lives what he preaches and as such, surely and steadily, the prosperity message is taking root. Embracing the message hasn’t come that easy but finally when the truth is known it indeed does set one free. After the fully attended crusade in the Mandela National Stadium, Pastors and Leaders packed the Miracle Center Auditorium for yet more words of wisdom. This being proceeded by a corporates’convention-code named “World Changers Corporate Diner”, later in the day. On his third and final day in Uganda, he spoke to Leaders in government (the cabinet, parliamentarians). No doubt the mark was made and amazingly minds have been awakened.

BENNY HINN HOLY SPIRIT MIRACLE CRUSADE MAKES HISTORY

Ps-Benny-Hinn

The much awaited Miracle healing crusade in Kampala Uganda drew tens of thousands of people to the Mandela National Stadium. There was an atmosphere of expectancy for God to answer the prayer of the people of Uganda. Pastor Benny Hinn came at the invitation of the First Lady herself, who in her short message implored him to 'Come again and again and again'   Pastor Benny Hinn declared the word of the Lord to Uganda saying, 'If we bring back the Cross, then all our problems will cease' He also dedicated the country back to God as the people declared in one voice that Uganda belongs to Jesus!  It was a one of a kind crusade being viewed Live on God TV! What a miracle. People from over 400 nations had their eyes and ears on Uganda, praising and worshiping God. By the second day, emails and were coming in from different nations from the United Kingdom to Malawi saying they were joining in the crusade via satellite. Praise be to God.  Miracles were happening everywhere, the blind got their eyesight, the deaf began to hear and the lame began to walk.

Moses from Lira who had never walked since birth, ended his day with the best miracles that could have ever happened in his life. .Indeed, he did not leave God's presence the same way he came.Moses who came into the auditorium crippled in a wheelchair, left as an enrolled Bible student walking on his two feet all by himself. And because he was so grateful to God,he made a decision to give his life to Christ.

A lady in her 30's had been deaf and dumb from birth, Jesus healed her and she began to hear for the first time. She too tearfully gave thanks to God.You should have seen this awesome moment;for there is no better place than in the presence of God.

Flanked by a choir of 4000 voices, Benny Hinn and his team lead the people of Uganda in praising and worshipping God before declaring the word of God.Unforgettable are the Benny Hinn partners who made this crusade a great success.May the Almighty be a blessing to them all that send Pastor Benny to the ends of the earth spreading the gospel.

The Rwanda miracle crusade  was one of the most powerful meetings that have been held by Pastor Robert Kayanja yet.

The people of Rwanda went through a terrible genocide in which at least 1 million people were brutally murdered in a space of 100 days. This dreadful incident in Rwanda left many of the people of Rwanda with many questions like where was God when all this was happening, etc. As a result, they could not easily trust anyone. Many of them needed a tangible manifestation of God’s presence to revive their faith in God-and God did not disappoint them.

Ps-Steve-Bowl-abd-team  The first day, Friday 9th saw Pastor Robert Kayanja lead a team of 29 including a team of 10 ministers from the USA headed by Dr. Steve Ball, Senior Pastor of Metro Tabernacle, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The evening of the first day, the miracle crusade started and the stadium was literally almost full. Strikingly, because of the magnitude of this powerful meeting, the general consensus was that three days were not enough to meet the needs of the church in Rwanda. So Pastor Kayanja promised to go back in the near future to hold a week long meeting for pastors and leaders.

Pastor Kayanja preached a strong message of salvation and then prayed for the sick. Immediately miracles began to happen everywhere. This was the amazing. So many miracles; you could see a whole line of crutches on the platform and those that were lifted in the air.

You see, as soon as Pastor Kayanja stepped onto the platform he called for all the sick to get to the front. It was so fascinating when the miracles began to happen; the manifestations of miracles were all concentrated in one area because all the sick were at the front and you could see them from one end to the other. You could see the crutches beyond count. So many paralytics got healed.

The meeting grew in momentum on day two and by the last day Sunday, December 11th the crowd was so large, some people had to be kept outside and they had to watch the meeting from the overhead projector outside the stadium. It’s on record that this was the largest number of people that ever attended a meeting in that stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 45,000 but the field and the track was filled with people on the last day.

And the power of God was present to heal the sick.

THE MIRACLES
Bewitched
A young man who was impotent as a result of being bewitched by the witch doctors received his healing totally after the man of God prayed.

Insane delivered
A young lady who was mentally disturbed was delivered in the healing crusade by the power of God after three months in hospital and on drugs.

 Deaf-mute healed
A young man totally deaf and dumb, with an infection in his ears had his ears opened for the first time in 10 years as he began his response shouting out “ JESUS” and “AMEN”.

 “I can see”
A young boy barely able to read (not to mention seeing), received his clear sight back. His grandmother too, who had been using a walker was totally healed, once she got on the platform.

 Lame man walks
For over 13 years on crutches, as many thronged the front to testify, this middle aged man lifted his crutches in faith and began to move his legs. The power of God hit him and he started walking without them.

 School of the blind-miracles
First, a young man’s blind eyes were opened after 20 years and he clearly began to see.  Shortly after, his friend from the same school came to rejoice and celebrate his miracle (for she was still blind), the man of God prayed as she touched both her eyes. Immediately her sight was restored.

Many walk out of wheelchairs
There were many that rose up out of wheelchairs in the crowds during prayer and testimony time. Wheelchairs could be seen lifted in the air as the healed made their way to the platform in jubilation.

 Deaf ears opened
He was involved in a convoy accident in 1995, in which he lost his sense of hearing, which consequently led to the loss of his job. He spent 9 months in a coma but thanks to God, both his ears were opened on this special night of miracles.

Another girl 20 years born deaf received her healing too.

A boy too born mute began to hear. Asked if could hear, he said yes. And for his first time he started to talk.

A three and a half year old baby was able to hear since his birth.

An old lady gets excited and begins to praise God when her ear opened.

After suddenly becoming deaf and dumb since he was three years old, 24 years ago later his ears and tongue are loosed on this miracle night.

 Broken knee healed
A mother with a broken knee since 1993 was able to walk again without her crutch.

 Baby healed
A baby born with a swollen umbilical cord was healed. The mother was overwhelmed by this miracle having noticed that the swelling had disappeared.

On this final and last day Pastor Robert preached from Acts 3 about the man born crippled from his mother’s womb and was taken by people who used to carry him to the gate called beautiful, to beg. He used this example as an illustration of many of our African countries which were born crippled and that those who carried us never took us in. They left us outside, but Jesus came to lift us up and to heal us and to give us ability to do and be able to get what we could not on our own.

Pastor Kayanja did not just talk to general masses; he had a meeting on Friday 9th with over 3,000 pastors and Christian leaders at the Jali Club Tent, the largest number of people to attend a meeting in the history of that venue. He challenged the Pastors to take and use what they had in order to create what they don’t have. He confronted the dependence mentality of many Africans who are always waiting for someone to come from across the seas to help them and the unwillingness for them to help themselves.

He encouraged them to be patriotic, love their country and work hard to build it. He promised to return to Rwanda in future for a longer time to hold a Pastor’s meeting.

THE GIRL POWER MINISTRIES TAKES HOPE TO RWANDA

Des Mille Collines hotel not only did serve as a safe haven for up to 1,000 people during the Rwanda genocide, 13 years later- on the 9th November, it saw Pastor Jessica Kayanja launch the Girl Power Ministries geared to provide emotional refuge and healing to the women and children still traumatised by the genocide.

“Often times, women are forgotten, but we are going to reach out to them as we focus on the issues of the heart,” she told a gathering of women in Kigali.

Girl Power Ministries has eased unbearable conditions that women go through. The Women’s Crisis Centre established, provides shelter and rehabilitation for the victims and also equips them with the necessary skills to cope in the real world.

As she concluded, Pastor Jessica said, “Every leader needs to be exemplary and accountable to the people they lead. We have to assist because many of these women have issues and most of these issues are of the heart; they are centred on unforgiveness, worry and pain emerging from bad relationships and marginalisation.”

Meanwhile, Pastor Robert also had a meeting with the leadership of Rwanda where he spoke a challenging message bringing to light the fact that Rwanda should now take her position and begin to harness the resources that God had given them, using what they have to create what they don’t have and cease waiting for someone overseas to come and help them. He also pointed out importantly that they should not apportion blame to someone for their predicament, but to take their own destiny in their own hands and trust God to do miracles for them.Cabinet-meeting-NL

Among those in the meeting were Cabinet Ministers, Senators and Members of Parliament whom he met at the Kigali Serena Hotel. In attendance among others was the Minister In charge of the Presidency, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Defence, and the Minister of Security - about 15 cabinet ministers attended.

So many people, tens of thousands gave their lives to Jesus Christ. The people of Rwanda were so hungry for God.
