  DR.MARILYN HICKEY VISITS UGANDA
Uganda once again (in this 2008th year, full of double potential capability), has been privileged to host yet another mighty servant of God. Like Africa is known for her extra-ordinary welcome to her guests, mirrored through the vibrant souls, Dr Marilyn Hickey’s reception in Uganda was no different-only much better.
In a highly spirited welcome, she kicked of her powerful meetings with a Pastors’ and Leaders’ conference at the Miracle Centre Cathedral.
“When I started my ministry I prayed for many African countries and Uganda has always had a warm special place in my heart” Dr. Marilyn Hickey retorted.
In the prime of ministry God spoke to her to go reach the lost rather than expect the lost to come to her. Through radio, television and Christian literature, God has increased her ministry by leaps and bounds. For over 38 years on television her ministry reaches approximately1billion and 500million people every single day.
In you lies the greatest power to multiply and as leaders we have been called to the multitudes. Note; the key to prosperity in ministry is speaking the word, meditating upon it and eventually doing it, (this can be drawn from the book of Joshua: 1:8)

Of great significance is the fact that the book of Joshua is one that has outstanding miracles. When Joshua led the Israelites into the Promised Land- God was always ahead of them wining mighty battles, He was such a man that made the sun stand still while they waged war against their enemy. So extraordinary was the marching round the walls of Jericho that eventually brought them tumbling down.

But more interestingly is the harlot-Rahab, who only heard about the kind of God the Israelites served, about His mighty and wondrous works that made a believer out of her.

Believe like Rahab did who confessed and acknowledged the God of Israel and was saved. This earned her being in the genealogy of our Lord Christ Jesus. And not just that, but her entire family was saved because of this brave act. It doesn’t matter what has gone wrong in your life or around you, all you need is call on the savior (of the day) and all that seemed dead will be resurrected.
“Whoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved”. Remember, like Joshua marched with the Israelites round about Jericho seven times to bring its walls down, so will everything that has been hindering our progress be broken and crushed. Remember we never talk about ‘mountains’, we speak to them.    (Mark 11:23)
